Vibratory finishing is a type of mass finishing manufacturing process used to deburr, radius, descale, burnish, clean, and brighten mass quantities of work pieces. Mechanical Finishing offers many different styles and sizes of vibratory machines to be able to accomodate all of your finishing needs.
Barrel finishing, also known as barrel tumbling, is a surface improving operation in which a mixture of parts, media and compounds are placed in a six- or eight-sided barrel and rotated at a predetermined speed for the purpose of rounding corners, deburring, grinding, descaling, deflashing, improving surface finish, burnishing, polishing, derusting, and radiusing parts in bulk. We have many machines to handle all size quantity of parts.
Spinner Hanger Blast System is specially suited for surface treatment and deburring of steel and aluminium parts, descaling of forgings, and desanding of castings, especially for those work pieces which are not suitable for tumbling because of their irregular shape or larger size. We offer the ability to handle load capacities of up to 2000 lbs per hook.
Tumble blasting is used for bulk material with small geometries or bulk material where steel abrasive contact is not viable. The work pieces are continuously tumbled during the blasting process which is ideal for desanding and descaling of castings, forgings and heat treated parts. Also good for the removal of abrasive residues from the part. We offer in both grit and shot blasting and have rubber belt applications.
Bead blasting is the process of applying stainless or fine glass beads in a high pressure stream to smooth a rough surface, roughen a smooth surface, shape a surface, or remove surface contaminants without damaging the surface. We offer table & cabinet blasting along with area specific blasting.
Our parts cleaning processes are designed to remove any greases, oils, or waxes left following the stamping process. We have many different processes to meet your particular part's needs such as vapor degreasing, ultrasonic, agitated bath cleaning, and a continuous belt wash, rinse & blow-dry. Our quality engineer can assist you in meeting your cleanliness specification requirements for your client.
Dunnage services can handle the ability to clean returnable dunnage while simultaneously cleaning the parts that are delivered in the returnable containers. We can even handle oily parts & oily dunnage by cleaning both items separately & repacking the dunnage according to packaging requirements. We offer batch & continuous belt washing, rinse & blow-dry.

Centrifugal disc finishers are high speed/energy finishing processes ideal for precision deburring of all types of stamped or machine parts. Excellent for finishing conventional materials such as brass, copper, steel, and aluminum as well as alloys such as kovar, inconel, stainless steel, titanium, ect. Centrifugal disc finishing technology enables deburring into grooves and corners that conventional vibratory or tumble deburring is unable to reach. Also good for descaling and surface improvement.
The passivation cleaning process is used to remove free iron from a part, which in turn means eliminating the number of possible corrosion points. Passivating a part is also used as a means of removing impurities and other oxides from the materials surface to help sterilize, sanitize, or clean the exposed surface. After the passivation process is complete, the material will be left with a protective finish while maintaining the tolerances required. The creation of surface contaminants such as free iron is the result of the machining and fabrication of stainless steel. The remaining impurities can cause premature corrosion which will ultimately damage and shorten the life of a part. By removing these impurities through passivation, we are able to help extend the life and function of your components.
We offer special packaging options, trucking, and industry partners for services such as plating, coatings, heat-treatment, machining, & other operations.
